Hydrogen Response Considerations
The International Association Of Fire Chiefs and the U.S. Department Of Transportation have partnered together to create a new Electronic Learning Community for responders. The first course is called “hydrogen Response Considerations.” It is approximately a two-hour online training course that is self-paced and focuses on hydrogen awareness and emergency response in four modules:
- Introduction To Hydrogen
- Hydrogen Properties and Hazardous Behaviors
- Identifying Hydrogen In Your Community
- Appropriate Response To A Hydrogen Incident
The course is free and when the user is finished, there will be a certificate of completion.
