Please call 919-647-0000 or 800-634-7854 (toll free) for help during regular business hours.

To view information related to each course, select the course from the drop-down list below.
Prior to downloading lesson plans, practicals, or tests, please review all notices found under the new “Updates & Notices” tab for each course. The change will either be a revision notice, or an update notice. A Revision Notice is used to notify end-users of important changes made to a program, lesson plan, or test based on feedback provided from delivery agencies, instructors, students, etc. An Update Notice is used to notify end-users of a brand new program or the update of a current program based on the release of an NFPA standard that would require an update of the entire program.

All certification exams are password protected. The Lesson Plan files and the Instructor Test item files are not password protected and are intended for access by the instructors.

All test item files are property of Performance Training System, Inc. and are protected under US and International software copyrights and trade mark registrations. It is prohibited to make digital copies of test items except for back up purposes, and test items can only be used to examine fire and rescue certification candidates for competency.

Please download and save these files to a secure site. These files have been zipped to allow for faster download, please keep in subfolders checked as you unzip. All the test item files are in PDF format and can be viewed from Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer, you will need to install this software before viewing or printing.
